Celebratory beverage and photo editing following the last chair of the season at Sugarloaf on Sunday.
The first ever East Coast Pond Skimming Championship went down today on The Landing here at Sugarloaf, and it was exactly as awesome as you’d expect pond skimming to be at Sugarloaf.
For more photos of the carnage, check out our album on Facebook.
Pond skimming = fish in a barrel. Great event to shoot.
Seen at Reggae Fest this weekend.
Greatest invention ever? Please discuss.
Had a great time shooting at Reggae Fest this weekend. Taking portraits of characters in the crowd isn’t the most natural or comfortable thing for me, but I had fun doing it and got some good content to feed to the social media masses. And with the light show that the crew had going on in the King Pine Room, shooting the concerts was like fish in a barrel.
We were also using hashtag #Reggae25 to crowdsource Reggae Fest content all weekend, and it has been one of our most successful hashtag campaigns so far - over 120 photos on Instagram so far and hundreds of Tweets from people here at the resort. We used the Sugarloaf Blue Room to compile and share it all - www.sugarloaf.com/blueroom
Another foot-plus on the way tomorrow. Winter is so not over.
Early ups on powder days are best, but I have fun shooting corduroy on bluebird days too.
I’ve watched a LOT of GoPro edits in my day. This one wins.
Salomon’s content marketing is on point.
Powdery deliciousness on Bubblecuffer Extension this morning, and another foot of snow in the forecast for later this week. If you’re not here, you should really get here.
Me.
This was part of my work day yesterday. My job has its perks.
Somehow it seems fitting that the Sugarloaf skier who made 3/4 of a page in the Sunday Times would be wearing a turquoise tuxedo.
